PCB Assembly Lead Time Estimator
Explore a working-day schedule from file review to shipment. Quantity and process drive an example assembly allowance, while component readiness and PCB fabrication determine the material critical path. Unknown material arrival prevents a credible completion date.
Lead time planner — find the critical path
Use working-day assumptions agreed with your suppliers. Fabrication and sourcing are treated as parallel stages after review; shipping is separate. These are example durations, not a factory commitment. Without an override, the assembly model is 2 setup days + 1 day per 250 boards (rounded up), plus 2 days for mixed technology or BGA inspection. These assumptions are illustrative.
Use the result in a reviewed RFQ
Keep the board revision, quantity, material ownership and test coverage with the result. Resolve missing values with the team responsible for the build. A planning output is useful context for a conversation; it is not a manufacturing approval or a binding commercial offer.
