PCB Assembly Capabilities & Project Review

A useful capability review checks the complete combination of board construction, component packages, assembly process and verification needs. Submit the values for your project so feasibility can be confirmed in the quotation.

Board construction

Include dimensions, thickness, layer count, material, copper weight, surface finish, stackup and relevant tolerances. Add impedance requirements, panel constraints and final outline details where applicable.

Assembly complexity

State the smallest package, fine-pitch devices, populated sides, BGA count and through-hole requirements. Disclose temperature-sensitive components, moisture handling and special mechanical supports. Package names alone do not establish process feasibility.

Inspection and test

Name required acceptance criteria, visible and hidden-joint inspection, programming and functional test coverage. Include fixture responsibility, limits and required records. Ask for current confirmation of equipment and process availability for the specific job.
